​​​​​​Katie Matheny is an academic advisor at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. In 2023 she graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a student advisor for incoming freshmen and transfer students throughout their first year in college. This led her to pursue a career in higher education after finding a passion for helping students thrive. She also has a strong passion for mental health and overall wellness.

In her free time, Katie loves to be active through weightlifting and spending time outdoors. She also loves Cardinal baseball and spending time with her family and friends.
