He immediately set out to meet all the college’s faculty and staff and as many of its alumni as possible. He also launched a planning group to bubble up ideas for Trulaske’s future.

Hometown: Perryville, MOMU background: Aaron Welker served as an MU ITC student intern in Prague, Czech Republic, during the Summer 2016 and then worked as the Prague project manager the following year. He graduated from the Trulaske College of Business in May 2017 with a BS in economics and a minor in political science and multicultural studies.

Each fall, the MU International Trade Center, along with trade assistance partners from across the region, hosts the Mid-America Trade Summit. The summit provides a unique opportunity to bring together top exporters, global trade leaders and trade assistance providers from across Mid-America.

By Elleyna RudmanFrom typical childhood sports to professional javelin star, Sophia Rivera Hassemer’s journey as an athlete is one for the books.Born in Puerto Rico and growing up all over the world, Rivera Hassemer has had an array of new experiences throughout her life. In addition to Puerto Rico, her family lived in Belgium, Italy and New Jersey before settling in Missouri when Rivera Hassemer was in middle school.

The Trulaske College of Business held its December 2023 graduation ceremony for students receiving a bachelor of science in business administration on Friday, Dec. 15, at the Hearnes Center. Students receiving master’s degrees from the college were recognized during the MU Graduate School ceremony on Friday in the same location. In total, the graduating class included more than 340 students.
