Trulaske undergraduate students recognized by Student Training for Advancing Research program

The MU Office of Undergraduate Research recognized the achievement of Trulaske undergraduate students who participated in five or more workshops offered by the office throughout the spring semester. The Student Training for Advancing Research program was conceived to engage students in the high-impact practice of research.

MU International Trade Center Awarded 2022 NASPA Best Practices Award

The MU International Trade Center at the Trulaske College of Business has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Best Practices Award in International Education for International Programming by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). An award ceremony was held between March 19-20 during the NASPA International Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Trulaske student finds new family, civic purpose through choir group

Connor Lovelace was one of four freshmen taking part in the biennial international trip of the University of Missouri’s University Singers in the summer of 2018. Lovelace was talking to two of the other three — Connor Cochran and Anthony Blatter, to be exact — about forming a different type of choral group as the group careened through the countryside of Sweden and Estonia.

Marketing Department hosts Sales Excellence Awards ceremony

On April 28th, students, faculty and staff of the marketing department joined together to honor exceptional sales students with two awards: the Leading the Way award for excellence in sales leadership to advance the goals of the Center for Sales and Customer Development; and the Sales Excellence Award for students who achieved exceptional results at sales competitions in developing their professional sales acumen. Attendees gained the benefit of experience from the keynote speech delivered by Mizzou alumnus Melissa Hensley, AVP of Enterprise Healthcare at Qualtrics.

Accounting student creates material to help educate marginalized groups on financial literacy

By Stephen Schmidt Since middle school, Autumn White knew she wanted to be a businesswoman in some form or fashion. How she would get to that career was another conversation, when growing up in University City in St. Louis. White associated a business career with achieving personal wealth. She dreamed of one day being a millionaire. She began saving money and showed fiscal responsibility that belied her age. “That dream changed,” she said.
