Professional Access

Visit corporate sites throughout the region and take part in professional development through the Walton Scholars program. Established in 1992, this program provides intentional leadership opportunities.

Exclusive Visits

Walton Scholars have had the opportunity to visit companies such as Google, Edward Jones, Hireology, Hallmark, Morningstar Financial, Wrigley Field and Leo Burnett to name a few. These visits give students a firsthand look at how corporations are run. Sam W. Walton, founder of Walmart, is one of the Trulaske College of Business’s proud alumni, so the program includes a visit to Walmart headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, every four years allowing every Walton Scholar the opportunity to go once in their college career.

Developing Your Skills

Scholars can take part in monthly professional development gatherings to hear from alumni and professionals on a topic relevant to emerging business leaders.
